Tachyon Design Automation Corp.

Tachyon Design Automation is a privately held Minnesota company in the electronic design automation (EDA) area. Tachyon Design Automation develops, supports and markets the OSS CVC Verilog simulator.

OSS CVC is a reasonably good version of Tachyon’s CVC Verilog compiler distributed as open source that is free for electronic design. Free OSS CVC is intended for use by hobbyists and FPGA designers.

Tachyon DA also distributes a much better commercial version of CVC with enhancements such as implementation of real valued ports for analog simulation and much better SV support. A binary only version of the commercial version of CVC is available for start ups at a reduced price.

Tachyon Design Automation was formerly called Pragmatic C Software Corp.
